GROUND IMPROVEMENT METHOD AND IMPROVED GROUND
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improvement method and improved ground capable of suppressing a construction period, labor, and cost.SOLUTION: A ground improvement method includes: a lattice-shaped improvement body construction process of constructing, in a ground 11 whose liquefaction is to be prevented, a lattice-shaped improvement body 2 by arranging in a lattice form, an outside improvement wall (improvement wall) 4 and inside improvement wall (improvement wall) 5 whose lower ends 4a, 5a reach a hardly water-permeable lower layer ground 13; a pumping-up process of pumping up groundwater after installing a deep well (wellhole) 3 in the ground 11 including the constructed lattice-shaped improvement body 2, to lower a groundwater level in the ground 11 including the constructed lattice-shaped improvement body 2 from a natural groundwater level 17 to a predetermined groundwater level 18; and a ground desaturation process of restoring the groundwater level from the predetermined groundwater level 18 to which the groundwater level has been lowered by the pumping-up process to the natural groundwater level 17, to make the ground 11 including the constructed lattice-shaped improvement body 2 be in an unsaturation state in which air bubbles are mixed.
【課題】工期や労力、コストを抑えることができる地盤改良工法および改良地盤を提供する。【解決手段】液状化を防止するべき地盤11に、下端部4a,5aが難透水性の下層地盤13に達する外側改良壁(改良壁)4、内側改良壁(改良壁)5を格子状に配置して格子状改良体2を構築する格子状改良体構築工程と、格子状改良体2が構築された地盤11にディープウェル(井戸)3を設置して地下水の揚水を行い、格子状改良体2が構築された地盤11の地下水位を自然水位17から所定の地下水位18に低下させる揚水工程と、揚水工程によって低下した所定の地下水位18を自然水位に回復させて、格子状改良体2が構築された地盤11を気泡が混在した不飽和状態にする地盤不飽和化工程と、を有する。【選択図】図2
