AUTOMATIC WELDING EQUIPMENT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide automatic welding equipment that is easily attached to the outer circumferential surface of a steel pipe and can weld a steel pipe while smoothly stably running in a self-propelled manner along the outer circumferential surface.SOLUTION: Automatic welding equipment 1 is provided which comprises: a rack rail 22 provided around the outer circumferential surface of a second steel pipe pile 2B; a running device 10 that runs in a self-propelled manner along the rack rail 22; and a support chain 30, and which forms a weld bead along the outer circumferential surface of the second steel pipe pile 2B by use of a weld torch 102 held by the running device 10. The running device 10 comprises: a sprocket 101 meshed with the rack rail 22; and a motor unit 111 that rotationally drives the sprocket 101. The support chain 30 is wound around the second steel pipe pile 2B to pull the running device 10 towards the outer circumferential surface of the second steel pipe pile 2B, and is in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the second steel pipe pile 2B via a roller member rotatable along the second steel pipe pile 2B.
【課題】鋼管の外周面に簡単に取り付けられ、外周面に沿って円滑に安定して自走しながら鋼管を溶接可能な自動溶接装置を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】第2鋼管杭2Bの外周面に周設されるラックレール22と、ラックレール22に沿って自走する走行装置10と、サポートチェーン30を備え、走行装置10が保持する溶接トーチ102で第2鋼管杭2Bの外周面に沿って溶接ビードを形成する自動溶接装置1とする。走行装置10は、ラックレール22に噛合するスプロケット101と、スプロケット101を回転駆動するモータユニット111と、を有する。そして、サポートチェーン30は第2鋼管杭2Bに巻き掛けられて走行装置10を第2鋼管杭2Bの外周面に引き付け、第2鋼管杭2Bに沿って回転可能なコロ部材を介して第2鋼管杭2Bの外周面に接している。【選択図】図1
