VEHICLE DOOR OPENING/CLOSING ASSIST DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which low relative rigidity of a vehicle door around an opening of a window part of a vehicle door affects behavior of the vehicle door.SOLUTION: A vehicle door opening/closing assist device includes: a vehicle door which is attached to a body of a vehicle so as to rotate around a one-end side rotation axis of the vehicle door; electromagnet means which generates an electromagnetic force for attracting the vehicle door to the body or separating the vehicle door from the body; and a control device which controls an electric current flowing through the electromagnet means. The above objective is achieved by the vehicle door opening/closing assist device.
