DECK MATERIAL REINFORCEMENT MEMBER AND DECK MATERIAL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sufficient strength at a cut end part without restricting any work procedure or damaging an appearance quality of a deck.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 20 has a separately formed reinforcement rib part 21 and an end surface cover part 22. The reinforcement rib part 21 and the end surface cover part 22 are placed in a contacted state through an inclined action surface 21c and a pressing surface 22d. When a fitting screw 23 is screwed into the reinforcement rib part 21 through the end surface cover part 22, the action surface 21c and the pressing surface 22d act to elastically deform a marginal part of the reinforcement rib part 21 and press the marginal part to an inner surface of respective face plate 11 of the deck material 10 and move the end surface cover part 22 in a direction close to the reinforcement rib part 21 to hold the reinforcement member 20 in a state where the end surface cover part 22 is pressed against the cut end surface of the deck material 10.
【課題】作業手順に制約を加えたり、デッキの外観品質を損なったりすることなく、切断端部に十分な強度を確保すること。【解決手段】補強部材20は別体に成形した補強リブ部21と端面カバー部22とを有し、傾斜する作用面21c及び押圧面22dを介して補強リブ部21と端面カバー部22とを互いに当接させた状態に配置し、端面カバー部22を介して補強リブ部21に取付ネジ23を螺合させた場合に、作用面21c及び押圧面22dの作用により補強リブ部21の縁部を弾性変形させてそれぞれのデッキ材10の表面板11の内面に押圧するとともに、補強リブ部21に対して端面カバー部22を近接する方向に移動させることにより端面カバー部22をデッキ材10の切断端面に押圧した状態でデッキ材10に保持される。【選択図】図2
