PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole-in anchor and a connection structure that facilitate processing of an existing structure for installation and shorten an embedded length of a shaft part into the existing structure.SOLUTION: A hole-in anchor 3 is a hole-in anchor for connecting an existing structure 1 with a new structure 2, and includes a cylindrical shaft part 31 and a protruded part 32. The protruded part 32 is disposed on the shaft part 31, where the greatest length l1 of the shaft part 31 in a radial direction is three time or more of an outer diameter d1 of the shaft part 31. The protruded part 32 is embedded in the new structure 2 when the existing structure 1 is connected with the new structure 2, and a boundary side surface 32a of the protrusion 32 that faces a boundary surface 10 between the existing structure 1 and the new structure 2 comes in contact with the new structure 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
