PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory material suitable for a steel continuous casting nozzle, which does not need blow of any gas, which causes no erosion and which can keep a block preventing effect long, and a steel continuous-casting nozzle using said refractory material.SOLUTION: A refractory material for a steel continuous casting nozzle is characterized in that it is composed of 75 to 97 mass % of MgO-AlOgroup spinel, and 3 to 25 mass% of wollastonite.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】本発明の目的は、ガスを吹き込む必要がなく、また、溶損を生ずることがなく、閉塞防止効果が長く維持できる鋼の連続鋳造ノズルに適した耐火材料及び該耐火材料を使用した鋼の連続鋳造ノズルを提供することにある。【解決手段】本発明の鋼の連続鋳造ノズル用耐火材料は、MgO−Al2O3系スピネル75〜97質量%及びウォラストナイト3〜25質量%からなることを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
