PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement dispersant capable of exhibiting high flowability and high holding property and to provide a cement composition comprising such a cement dispersant.SOLUTION: There is provided a cement dispersant which comprises a copolymer having a structural unit (I) derived from an unsaturated polyalkylene glycol alkenyl ether-based monomer (a) represented by the general formula (1), a structural unit (II) derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer (b) represented by the general formula (2) and a structural unit (III) derived from a sulfonic acid (salt) group-containing monomer (c) represented by the general formula (3), wherein the content ratio of the structural unit (II) is more than 4 pts.mass and less than 30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the total of the structural unit (I) and the structural unit (II).SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】高い流動性と高い保持性を発現できるセメント分散剤を提供する。また、そのようなセメント分散剤を含むセメント組成物を提供する。【解決手段】本発明のセメント分散剤は、一般式（１）で表される不飽和ポリアルキレングリコールアルケニルエーテル系単量体（ａ）由来の構造単位（Ｉ）と一般式（２）で表される不飽和カルボン酸系単量体（ｂ）由来の構造単位（ＩＩ）と一般式（３）で表されるスルホン酸（塩）基含有単量体（ｃ）由来の構造単位（ＩＩＩ）を有する共重合体を含み、該構造単位（Ｉ）と該構造単位（ＩＩ）と該構造単位（ＩＩＩ）の合計を１００質量部としたときの該構造単位（ＩＩ）の含有割合が４質量部を超えて３０質量部未満である。【選択図】なし
