PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method for dust removal equipment, the operation method enabling overall power consumption of the dust removal equipment to be reduced by reducing loads on a cleaning pump during an intermittent operation.SOLUTION: There is provided the operation method for dust removal equipment that includes: a dust removal apparatus having a screen spanned between a pair of endless chains arranged to face each other in a width direction of a water channel into which seawater flows; and a cleaning pump that is driven together with the operation of the dust removal apparatus and supplies cleaning water for cleaning the screen. In the operation method, operation for cleaning the screen by pulling up the screen and driving the cleaning pump, is performed when a tide level of seawater flowing into the water channel is higher than an average tide level of the day. When the above operation is performed, the time when the tide level has reached a high tide is set to be a starting time of the above operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】インターバル運転時に洗浄ポンプにかかる負荷を軽減し、除塵設備全体の消費電力の削減を図ることのできる運転方法を提供する。【解決手段】海水が流入する水路の幅方向に対向配置された一対の無端チェーンにかけ渡されたスクリーンを備える除塵装置と、前記除塵装置の稼働に伴い駆動されて前記スクリーンの洗浄を成す洗浄水を供給する洗浄ポンプを有する除塵設備の運転方法であって、前記スクリーンを引き上げると共に、前記洗浄ポンプを駆動させて前記スクリーンを洗浄する運転を、前記水路に流入する海水の潮位が、当日の平均潮位よりも高い時に行うことを特徴とする。また、このような運転方法を実施する際には、前記潮位が満潮に達した時点を運転開始時期として行うようにする。【選択図】図１
