PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving the corrosion resistance and strength of a seal portion to be applied to the substrate end portion of a ceramic filter.SOLUTION: A ceramic filter comprises: a substrate formed with a fluid passage by a partition wall made of a ceramic porous body; a membrane film formed on the surface of said partition wall; and a seal layer formed on the end part of said substrate.
