PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip fitting device for fitting a clip to a first reinforcement and a second reinforcement.SOLUTION: A clip fitting device 10 generally includes a barrel 14, a hammer stored in the barrel 14 and a main drive 29 constituted so as to reciprocatably move the hammer in the barrel 14, and may also include a lockout lever for restraining the movement in the proximal direction of a protective shield when not only the protective shield but also a clip are not completely received in the barrel 14, and may also include a clip door operably connected to a slide pivot channel regulated by one of the barrel 14 and the clip door, that is, at least one guide slot arranged in the barrel 14 for guiding the movement of the hammer and a hammer bushing coaxial with the barrel 14 for supporting the hammer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
