PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement metal fitting for a clip that readily and effectively reinforces a connection between a ceiling joist receiver and a ceiling joist using the clip.SOLUTION: A reinforcement metal fitting 8 for a clip includes an outer receiving member 81, an intermediate receiving member 82 fitted detachably on the outer receiving member 81, and an engaging member 83 for engaging the outer receiving member 81 with the intermediate receiving member 82. The outer receiving member 81 includes a first flat plate part 811 and a top plate piece 812 extending upward from a rear edge of the first plate part 811. The intermediate receiving member 82 includes a second flat plate part 822 engaged with the first flat plate part 811 by the engaging member 83, and a pair of second bottom plate pieces 823 extending downward from a left edge and a right edge of the second flat plate part 822. The top plate piece 812 is fastened to a ceiling joist receiver 4 through a clip 6, and a pair of first bottom plate pieces 813 and the pair of second bottom plate pieces 823 are fastened through side surfaces 51L, 51R of a ceiling joist 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
