PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting unit of excellent thermal insulation property and difficult to be warped or distorted due to a temperature change.SOLUTION: A fitting unit includes a fitting having a synthetic resin frame body for supporting a surface material partitioning inside and outside of a room, and a fixing member for fixing the frame body to a building frame, the fixing member having rigidity higher than that of the synthetic resin frame body and a thermal expansion coefficient different from that of the synthetic resin frame body. Either of the frame body or the fixing member has an engaging piece protruding toward the other member and engaged with the other member, while the other member has an expansion/contraction allowing part sandwiching the engaging piece and engaged with the engaging piece, in such a way to allow expansion/contraction of the frame body and the fixing member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
