PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cord gripping device and a solar shading device in which a terminal of a lifting cord is detachably fixed in a lower end of a shielding material suspended from a head-box.SOLUTION: A cord gripping device 11 of the present invention includes a first connecting member 11a attached to the lower end of a shielding material 2 so as to follow along the surface of the shielding material 2, and a second connecting member 11b for attaching the lower end of a lifting cord 5. The cord gripping device is configured such that the first connecting member 11a is positioned between the surface of the shielding material 2 and the second connecting member 11b, and the first connecting member 11a and the second connecting member 11b are engaged with each other, and connected and held, and further the engagement is disengaged when predetermined tensile force acts on the lifting cord 5 in the direction where the second connecting member 11b is separated from the surface of the shielding material 2 for attaching the first connecting member 11a, and the first connecting member 11a and the second connecting member 11b are separated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】ヘッドボックスから垂下される遮蔽材の下端部に昇降コードの末端を着脱可能に固定するコード掴持装置及び日射遮蔽装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明のコード掴持装置１１は、遮蔽材２の下端部に遮蔽材２の面に倣って追随するように取着する第１連結部材１１ａと、昇降コード５の下端を取着する第２連結部材１１ｂとを備え、第１連結部材１１ａが遮蔽材２の面と第２連結部材１１ｂとの間に位置して、第１連結部材１１ａ及び第２連結部材１１ｂが互いに係合して連結保持されるよう構成され、第１連結部材１１ａを取着する遮蔽材２の面から第２連結部材１１ｂが引き離される方向に所定の引張力が昇降コード５に作用する際に当該係合が外れて、第１連結部材１１ａ及び第２連結部材１１ｂが分離するように構成されている。【選択図】図４
