PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent infiltration of liquid or the like into a top plate, even if a stone material such as marble is used as a top plate of a mounting table such as a table and a counter.SOLUTION: A composite stone material 1 includes a stone material 2, a glass sheet 3 protecting the surface of the stone material 2, and a transparent adhesive layer 4 bonding the stone material 2 and the glass sheet 3. The thickness of the stone material 2 is 10 mm or more, and the thickness of the glass sheet 3 is 1 mm or less. The stone material 2 is marble or granite. In a method of using the composite stone material 1, the composite stone material 1 is used as a top plate 8 of a mounting table 7 such as a table and a counter in a state where a surface on the glass sheet 3 side is a mounting surface (top surface).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
