PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel construction method and a joint tape capable of achieving an openwork finish with improved workability.SOLUTION: In a panel construction method, a first panel 1a and a second panel 1b are pasted on a construction surface 3 so that a joint A in a prescribed width is formed between the first panel 1a and the second panel 1b, and the construction surface 3 at the joint A is covered with a joint tape. The panel construction method comprises: a first panel attaching process in which the first panel 1a is attached to the construction surface 3 and a clearance B is formed between an edge marginal part 13 of the first panel 1a and the construction surface 3; a joint tape insertion process in which one side end 4a of the joint tape is inserted in the clearance B; and a second panel attaching process in which the other side end 4b of the joint tape 4 is covered with the edge marginal part 13 of the second panel 1b and the second panel 1b is attached to the construction surface 3 with keeping a space of prescribed width between the first panel 1a and the second panel 1b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
