PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water intake device offering high intake efficiency for surface water and reducing a burden of maintenance and management work significantly.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an intake device 10 for surface water comprising a box-shaped intake device body 12, and an intake screen 16 covering an opening 14 formed from a top side to a front surface of the intake device body 12. A screen part 17 of the intake screen 16 is curved upward and roughly arch-shaped when seen from sideways, and an inflow plate 26 for surface water is provided at a top part of the intake device body 12, the inflow plate projecting forward from a rear surface side. A top edge side of the screen part 17 is placed below the inflow plate 26, and a highest part T of the curved surface of the screen part 17 is at a same level or slightly higher than a surface height of the inflow plate 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 表流水の取水効率が高く、且つ維持管理作業を大幅に軽減できる取水装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】 本発明は、箱状の取水装置本体12と、取水装置本体12の上方から前面にかけて形成された開口部14を覆って配設される取水スクリーン16とを含んで構成される表流水の取水装置10であって、取水スクリーン16のスクリーン部17は上方にわん曲した側面視略弓形形状をなし、取水装置本体12の上部に、背面側から前方に張り出した表流水の流入板26を備え、スクリーン部17の上端側が、流入板26の下方に配置されると共に、スクリーン部17のわん曲面の最高部Tが、流入板26の表面高さと同一又は僅かに上方に位置することを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
