OPERATION DEVICE FOR OPENING/CLOSING BODY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device for an opening/closing body that ensures safety of residents regardless of a product size of the opening/closing body.SOLUTION: An operation device for an opening/closing body includes an upper case 140 having an upper pulley 141 around which a lower edge of a driving cord 120 is wound, a lower case 150 having a lower pulley 151 around which an upper edge of an operation cord 110 is wound, and engaging means 160 for connecting the upper case 140 and the lower case 150 by engaging the cases. When a load is exerted on either side of the operation cord 110 that hangs in a loop form from the lower case 150, rotation of the lower pulley 151 is conveyed to the upper pulley 141. When a load is exerted on both sides of the operation cord 110 that hangs in a loop form from the lower case 150, the engaging means 160 is disengaged, separating the upper case 140 from the lower case 150. The configuration eliminates a need to strictly set engaging force of a connecting member that performs a fail-safe function, in a way that suits a product size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
