PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary mechanism which has a simple structure, and is easy to assemble and superior in durability, and a key housing device.SOLUTION: When a first connection part 13b formed on an operation pin 13 is inserted into a rotor 11 and a part of the operation pin 13 abuts on the inside of a shaft hole 15 of the rotor 11, a length up to a tip part 13c1 of a second connection part 13c between an axis O and the operation pin 13 is set to be shorter than a length from the axis O to an inner surface 15d1 of a second restriction part 15d of the rotor 11. The operation pin 13, a coil spring, and the rotor 11 are assembled in a rotation space 7. In a state in which a center axis O2 of the operation pin 13 is on the axis O, a length from the axis O of the operation pin 13 to a tip part 13b1 of a first connection part 13b of the operation pin 13 is longer than a length from the axis O to a first restriction part 15c of the shaft hole 15, and a length from the axis O to the tip part 13c1 of the second connection part 13c of the operation pine 13 is longer than a length from the axis O to a second restriction part 15d of the shaft hole 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
