PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective technique for properly restoring a latch mechanism from the closure holding release state of a slide door to the closure holding state, when a motor power transmission lever is stopped in a rotation region between the initial position and the rotation termination position due to electric failure or the like at the time of the operation of a release motor, in a vehicle door operation device assembled to the slide door of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle door operation device 110 includes a cancellation mechanism 200 which moves a connection pin 166 from the connection position for connecting an outside handle lever 150 and a motor power transmission lever 160 to a connection release position for releasing connection between the outside handle lever 150 and the motor power transmission lever 160, by using the rotation operation of an inside handle lever 140 following the closing operation of an inside handle 61, when the motor power transmission lever 160 is stopped in a rotation region between the initial position and the rotation termination position at the time of operation of a release motor 65.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】 車両のスライドドアに組付けられる車両ドア作動装置において、リリースモータの作動時の電気的故障等によってモータ動力伝達レバーが初期位置から回動終端位置までの間の回動領域に停止したときにラッチ機構をスライドドアの閉止保持解除状態から閉止保持状態に適正に復帰させるのに有効な技術を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明に係る車両ドア作動装置１１０は、リリースモータ６５の作動時にモータ動力伝達レバー１６０が初期位置と回動終端位置との間の回動領域に停止したとき、インサイドハンドル６１の閉操作に伴うインサイドハンドルレバー１４０の回動動作を利用して連結ピン１６６をアウトサイドハンドルレバー１５０とモータ動力伝達レバー１６０とを連結する連結位置からアウトサイドハンドルレバー１５０とモータ動力伝達レバー１６０との連結を解除する連結解除位置へと移動させるキャンセル機構２００を備える。【選択図】 図６
