PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder lifting device which has high strength, achieves high level safety, and is smaller and more inexpensive.SOLUTION: A ladder lifting device 3 includes: a base 11 provided at an upper part of a fire truck 1; and a frame 12 to which a ladder 9 is detachably attached. The ladder lifting device 3 lifts the frame 12 from a storage position to a ladder attachment/detachment position. The ladder lifting device 3 includes: a link arm 13 which is provided so as to move on the base 11 in a fore and aft direction and swing on the base 11 in the fore and aft direction and comprises: a long arm 13a connected with the frame 12 and supporting the frame 12; and a short arm 13b connected with an intermediate part of the long arm 13a; a rear end support part 14 provided at a rear part of the base 11 and supporting the frame 12; and a male screw shaft 17 which extends in the fore and aft direction and is rotated by a driving part 15 to move a female screw block 16 connected with the short arm 13b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
