Each of the left and right handrails has a support shaft portion 8 along the column and a grip portion 9 separated from the column. The support has a holder 11 that holds the support shaft portion so that it can rotate around the shaft center and move in the direction of the shaft center, and a lock member 12 penetrating through a holder hole 11a formed in the holder and a shaft hole P formed in the support shaft portion. The support shaft portion of the handrail is formed with a shaft hole during use in which the lock member is penetrated in a use state U where the handrail is erected forward from the column and the upper part of the handrail protrudes upward from the column, and an unused shaft hole Pf through which the lock member penetrates when the handrail is tilted along the ladder main body and moved downward from the used state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
