PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable appropriate working oil to be supplied to a hydraulic actuator and a consumption horse power of a pump to be restricted.SOLUTION: A hydraulic system for a work machine comprises: a hydraulic actuator; a connecting part for connecting the hydraulic actuator; a constant capacity type first hydraulic pump for discharging working oil; a constant capacity type second hydraulic pump for discharging working oil that is different from the first hydraulic pump; a first oil passage for connecting the connecting part with the first hydraulic pump; a second oil passage for connecting the second hydraulic pump with the first oil passage; a control valve arranged at the second oil passage to shut off or communicate with the second oil passage; a first relief valve arranged at the first oil passage; and a second relief valve arranged at the second oil passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
