PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To curtail overall construction period significantly, in a construction method for a base-isolated structure constructed by a normal construction method, having a seismic isolator interposed between a lower column part of a composite structure comprising an iron column part and a concrete part, and upper column part built above the lower column part.SOLUTION: A construction method for a base-isolated structure includes a first step in which an iron column part 1a of a lower column part 1 is arranged and a seismic isolator 2 is installed above the iron column part 1a, a second step in which an upper column part 3 is arranged above the seismic isolator 2 installed in the first step, and a third step in which concrete is cast after arranging the upper column part 3 and completing the lower column part 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
