PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support post holding device that enables a support post to be installed and removed readily.SOLUTION: A support post holding device includes plate-form upper seat 3 and lower seat 5 that are disposed separately in a vertical direction, and an insertion member 11 disposed between the seats 3, 5 and having a pile or a support post inserted therethrough. Each of the seats 3, 5 is almost triangular in shape, and the insertion member 11 is spanned to connect apexes of the seats 3, 5, and central parts of each of side edges of the seats 3, 5. The insertion member 11 includes a tubular guide member 31, and a fastener 35 for fixing the pile or the support post.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
