VIBRATION SUPPRESSION DEVICE OF STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration suppression device of a structure, which can properly suppress vibration when vibration of the structure is relatively small, and, when vibration of the structure is relatively large, which can prevent damage of the vibration suppression device and the structure due to excessive displacement of an additional vibration system with a relatively simple configuration.SOLUTION: A vibration suppression device 1 includes a mass body 2 connected to a structure R through a transmission member 3 having elasticity, and a variable attenuation damper 6. The attenuation coefficient of the variable attenuation damper 6, when a piston is positioned in a predetermined first outside section, is made larger than that in a case of being positioned in a predetermined inside section. The mass body 2, the transmission member 3 and the variable attenuation damper 6 constitute an additional vibration system. The specification of the additional vibration system is set so that when the piston is positioned in the inside section during vibration of the structure R, the eigen frequency of the additional vibration system synchronizes with the eigen frequency of the structure R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】構造物の振動が比較的小さいときに、振動を適切に抑制できるとともに、構造物の振動が比較的大きいときに、付加振動系の変位の過大化に起因する振動抑制装置及び構造物の破損を、比較的簡易な構成により防止できる構造物の振動抑制装置を提供する。【解決手段】振動抑制装置1は、弾性を有する伝達部材3を介して構造物Rに連結された質量体2と、可変減衰ダンパ6を備え、可変減衰ダンパ6の減衰係数は、そのピストンが所定の第1外側区間に位置しているときには、所定の内側区間に位置しているときよりも大きくなる。質量体2、伝達部材3及び可変減衰ダンパ6は、付加振動系を構成しており、付加振動系の諸元は、構造物Rの振動中、ピストンが内側区間に位置しているときに、付加振動系の固有振動数が構造物Rの固有振動数に同調するように、設定されている。【選択図】図1
