VIBRATION SUPPRESSION DEVICE FOR STRUCTURE
To provide a vibration suppression device for a structure capable of preventing excessive interlayer deformation of a structure even when damping performance of a damping wall is reduced.SOLUTION: A vibration suppression device 10 of a structure is provided with a damping wall 11 connected between a lower beam 5 and an upper beam 5. The damping wall 11 includes: a metal storage wall 14 formed in a box-like shape that is open upward, and having a lower end connected to the lower beam 5; a metal inner wall 15 formed in a plate shape, having an upper end connected to the upper beam 5 and inserted through the opening into the storage wall 14, and arranged at a distance from the inner surface of the storage wall 14; and a viscous body 16 filling the interior of the storage wall 14 and existing between the inner surface of the storage wall 14 and the inner wall 15. The vibration suppression device 10 further includes a pair of stoppers 12, 12 provided to face the storage wall 14 at a predetermined distance in a state of being connected to the upper beam 5 and hanging down on both sides of the damping wall 11, for suppressing the relative displacement between the lower beam 5 and the upper beam 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
