SLAG TREATMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine the amount of oxygen supplied to a slag holding furnace immediately after pouring molten slag.SOLUTION: In a slag treatment method, molten slag produced in a steel making process is charged into a slag holding furnace in a molten state, the molten slag is poured from the slag holding furnace into an electric furnace storing a molten iron layer and a molten slag layer formed on the molten iron layer, and the molten slag is continuously reduced in the electric furnace to recover valuables in the molten slag into the molten iron layer. Exhaust gas generated in the electric furnace is introduced into the slag holding furnace, and an oxygen-containing gas is supplied into the slag holding furnace at a predetermined flow rate to burn combustible components in the exhaust gas. The flow rate of the oxygen-containing gas immediately after pouring the molten slag is determined based on the pouring amount of the molten slag and the amount and temperature of the molten slag contained in the molten slag layer before the pouring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】溶融スラグの注入直後のスラグ保持炉への酸素供給量を適切に決定する。【解決手段】製鋼工程で生成された溶融スラグを溶融状態のままスラグ保持炉に投入し、スラグ保持炉から、溶鉄層と溶鉄層上に形成された溶融スラグ層とを収容する電気炉内に、溶融スラグを注入し、電気炉にて溶融スラグを連続的に還元して、溶融スラグ中の有価物を溶鉄層中に回収するスラグ処理方法であって、電気炉で発生した排ガスをスラグ保持炉内に導気するとともに、スラグ保持炉内に酸素含有ガスを所定の流量で供給することによって排ガス中の可燃性成分を燃焼させ、溶融スラグの注入直後の酸素含有ガスの流量を、溶融スラグの注入量と、注入前に溶融スラグ層に含まれる溶融スラグの量および温度とに基づいて決定する、スラグ処理方法が提供される。【選択図】図3
