VEHICULAR DOOR LATCH DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve anti-theft performance, water resistance and durability for lid sections 93 and 903 of waterproof covers 9 and 90 in a vehicular door latch device.SOLUTION: A door latch device includes: a housing 8; and waterproof covers 9 and 90 which are fixed to an upper section of the housing 8 so as to prevent rainwater infiltration into the housing 8. The housing 8 includes an opening 821 and an engaging hole 829 communicated with the outside on the side surface. The waterproof covers 9 and 90 are configured to integrally form upper surface cover sections 91 and 901 for covering a top face of the housing 8 and lid sections 93 and 903 which are bendably connected to the upper surface cover sections 91 and 901 sides and openable/closable with respect to the opening 821. In the lid sections 93 and 903, an elastic claw section 933 is integrally formed to be engaged with the engaging hole 829 and hold the lid sections 93 and 903 in closed states when the lid sections 93 and 903 are bent and the opening 821 is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
