VIBRATION SUPPRESSION DEVICE FOR STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration suppression device for a structure capable of improving responsiveness of an additional vibration system in an initial stage of vibrations of the structure and appropriately suppressing vibrations after a middle stage of vibrations of the structure.SOLUTION: The vibration suppression deice comprises a mass body that is coupled to the structure via a transmission member; and a variable attenuation damper that is coupled to the structure and the mass body. During vibrations of the structure, if a displacement of the structure represented by a detected displacement parameter DISR is smaller than a predetermined displacement DREF, an attenuation coefficient of the variable attenuation damper is adjusted to a value smaller than a predetermined coefficient and after the displacement reaches the predetermined displacement DREF, the attenuation coefficient is adjusted to the predetermined coefficient. The transmission member, the mass body and the variable attenuation damper form an additional vibration system and rigidity of the transmission member, a mass of the mass body and the predetermined coefficient are set in such a manner that an eigen frequency of the additional vibration system is tuned to an eigen frequency of the structure while the attenuation coefficient of the variable attenuation damper is adjusted to the predetermined coefficient during the vibrations of the structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
【課題】構造物の振動の初期における付加振動系の応答性を高めることができるとともに、構造物の振動の中期以後における振動を適切に抑制することができる構造物の振動抑制装置を提供する。【解決手段】伝達部材を介して構造物に連結された質量体と、構造物及び質量体に連結された可変減衰ダンパを備え、構造物の振動中、可変減衰ダンパの減衰係数が、検出された変位パラメータDISRで表される構造物の変位が所定変位DREFよりも小さいときには、所定係数よりも小さな値に調整され、所定変位DREFに達した以後には、所定係数に調整される。伝達部材、質量体及び可変減衰ダンパは、付加振動系を構成しており、伝達部材の剛性、質量体の質量及び所定係数は、構造物の振動中、可変減衰ダンパの減衰係数が所定係数に調整されているときに、付加振動系の固有振動数が構造物の固有振動数に同調するように、設定されている。【選択図】図9
