FITTING STRUCTURE OF BASE FOR FITTING FAUCET
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure of a base for fitting a faucet that enables a base for fitting a faucet on which the faucet is fitted to be fitted from a front surface side of a wall on which the faucet is fitted, without opening a screw hole on the wall on which the faucet is fitted.SOLUTION: A fitting structure is for fitting a base for fitting a faucet to a wall on which the faucet is fitted, the wall having a through-hole formed therethrough. The fitting structure includes: an insertion body that is inserted, from a front surface side, into the through-hole formed through the wall on which the faucet is fitted; and a contacting part provided around the insertion body and may be inserted into the through-hole from the front surface side along with the insertion body, and comes in contact with a rear surface of the wall on which the faucet is fitted while the insertion body is being inserted into the through-hole. The base for fitting the faucet is fixed on the wall on which the faucet is fitted, by sandwiching the wall on which the faucet is fitted and the base for fitting the faucet between the contacting part and a fixing member fixed on a part of the insertion body exposed on the front surface side from the through-hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
