ELEVATOR TYPE PARKING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator type parking device which is a palette type and capable of enhancing smoothness by shortening a waiting time until the entrance or exiting of a next vehicle in successive entrance, successive entrance and exiting or successive exiting, and a control method therefor.SOLUTION: An elevator type parking device comprises: a cage 12 elevated in a hoistway 3; a storage shelf 14 adjoining the hoistway 3; and a traverse-motion device 16 which can move a palette 2 transversely between the hoistway 3 and storage shelf 14. The traverse-motion device 16 has a movable transverse-motion mechanism 18 provided in the hoistway 3. The movable transverse-motion mechanism 18 is configured to move between a support position F where the mechanism is located inside in a length direction of the palette 2 to support the palette 2 in a transverse motion possible state and a standby position B where the mechanism is located outside in the length direction of the palette 2 to standby from the palette 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
