PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a service life cycle of a moisture absorption agent installed in a building.SOLUTION: A method for controlling humidity of a building at least either during construction of the building or after completion includes an installation step in which a humidity controlling agent housed in an air-permeable container is installed in an underfloor space of the building at a location above an earthen floor underneath the floor and not in contact with the earthen floor, the humidity controlling agent being exposed to air at least partially.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
