DEVICE FOR WATER SUPPLY WITH NICKEL ELUTION SUPPRESSED AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for water supply that reduces and suppresses bleeding of nickel into tap water.SOLUTION: There is provided a device for water supply with a basic structure on which chromium plating is conducted after conducting nickel plating, for example a device for water supply capable of reducing and suppressing bleeding of nickel into tap water, where the nickel plating is nickel alloy plating and an alkaline aqueous solution impregnation, a chromate treatment or the like is conducted after the chromium plating in a cock metal fitting. The nickel alloy plating is plating consisting of an alloy of at least one selected from Co, Sn, Fe and P and nickel and it is preferable that Ni:Co ratio is 35:65 to 95:5 by weight when the nickel alloy plating is Ni-Co alloy plating, Ni:Sn ratio is 65:35 to 35:65 by weight for Ni-Sn plating, Ni:Fe ratio is 70:30 to 97:3 by weight for Ni-Fe plating and Ni:P ratio is 80:20 to 97:3 by weight for Ni-P plating.SELECTED DRAWING: None
