PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel platform fence having a mechanical locking mechanism and manual unlocking mechanism.SOLUTION: A platform fence comprises a drive mechanism 10 including: a rope-like member 105 stretched between a driving pulley and a driven pulley 104; and an operation part 110. For opening and closing, the rope-like member 105 is rotated to engage the operation part 110 with an engaging part 120 of a door part 4 to move the door part 4. In a fully closed state, The operation part 110 is moved to a lock position to lock the door part 4. If a manual operation part 33 of a manual operation mechanism part 3 is manually operated in this state, an unlocking cum part 31 swings to forcibly move the operation part 110 positioned at the lock position from the lock position. 【課題】新しい施錠機構及び手動解錠機構を備えたホーム柵を実現すること。【解決手段】駆動機構部10は、駆動プーリと従動プーリ104に掛け回した環状の索状体105に作用部110を備える。開閉時には索状体105を回転させて、作用部110をドア部4の係合部120と係合させてドア部4を移動させる。全閉状態においては、作用部110が施錠ポジションに移動されてドア部4が施錠された状態となる。この状態において手動操作機構部3の手動操作部33を手動操作すると、解錠カム部31が揺動して施錠ポジションにあった作用部110を強制的に当該施錠ポジションから移動させる。つまり、手動で解錠させることができるようになる。【選択図】図9
