PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire spread prevention member having good flexibility while having high expansion magnification during heating and sufficient mechanical strength after heating and a method for preventing fire spread by a structure used for a fire protection facility.SOLUTION: There is provided a fire spread prevention member for suppressing fire spread by a structure used for a fire protection facility, containing (A) a polyurethane binder: 100 pts.mass and (B) an expandable graphite: 30 pts.mass to 180 pts.mass inclusive and the (A) polyurethane binder contains a structure derived from polyol containing a structure with 10 or more continuous carbon atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】加熱時の高い膨張倍率、及び加熱後の十分な機械強度を有しながら、良好な可撓性を有する、延焼防止部材、及びこれを用いて、防火設備に用いられる構造物により延焼を抑制する方法を提供する。【解決手段】防火設備に用いられる構造物により延焼を抑制するための延焼防止部材であって、(A)ポリウレタンバインダー:100質量部、及び(B)膨張性黒鉛:30質量部以上180質量部以下、を含み、(A)のポリウレタンバインダーは、炭素原子が10以上連続する構造を含有するポリオールに由来する構造を含む、延焼防止部材。【選択図】なし
