SEISMIC ISOLATION STRUCTURE AND SEISMIC ISOLATION REPAIR METHOD OF EXISTING BUILDING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation structure and a seismic isolation repair method of an existing building, which can maintain originally designed seismic isolation clearance, alleviate collision between an upper structure and a retaining wall even when horizontal displacement equal to or more than a base isolation clearance occurs on the upper structure, and absorb energy.SOLUTION: In a seismic isolation structure, a retaining wall 5 is constructed around a seismic isolation building in which a seismic isolation layer 4 is formed between a foundation 1 and a building 2. A concavity 10 is formed on the retaining wall 5 or a periphery 8 of the seismic isolation building opposite to the retaining wall 5.
