RETAINING WALL BLOCK, RETAINING WALL AND RETAINING WALL CONSTRUCTION METHOD AND ARTIFICIAL ISLAND
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining wall block used for a retaining wall construction, a retaining wall using the same, and a retaining wall construction method, which can prevent polluted water from flowing into the sea and ensure safety against a large tsunami.SOLUTION: A projection length of a convexity 16 from a side face 20 is longer than a depth of a concavity 14. The maximum width of the convexity 16 is smaller than that of the concavity 14. The convexity 16 and the concavity 14 can substantially engage with each other. The convexity 16 has a shape in which a semi-circular cylinder projection on the side face on which the convexity 16 is formed protrudes in a direction perpendicular to the side face. The concavity 14 has a shape in which a semi-circular cylinder groove of the side face is moved in parallel with a direction perpendicular to the side face on which the concavity 14 is formed and the direction in which the depth decreases. The shape of the convexity 16 and the concavity 14 is such a shape that when the convexity 16 engages with the concavity 14, a distance between the convexity 16 and the concavity 14 increases at position away from a butting position of the convexity 16 and the concavity 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】汚濁水が海へ流出することを抑制でき、かつ、大津波への安全性も確保された擁壁の構築に用いる擁壁ブロック、それを用いた擁壁および擁壁の構築方法を提供する。【解決手段】凸部16の側面20からの突出長さは凹部14の深さよりも長く、かつ、凸部16の最大幅は凹部14の最大幅よりも小さく、凸部16と凹部14は略嵌合することができ、さらに、凸部16は該凸部16が備えられている側面から該側面上の半円柱状の突起を該側面と直交する方向にさらに突出させた形状であり、凹部14は該凹部14が備えられている側面と直交する方向であって深さが浅くなる方向に該側面の半円柱状の溝を平行移動させた形状であり、かつ、凸部16と凹部14の形状は、凸部16と凹部14とを嵌合させたとすると、凸部16と凹部14との当接部位から離れるほど凸部16と凹部14との間の間隔が広くなるような形状である。【選択図】図1
