PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polycarboxylate-based copolymer which has stable dispersibility without depending on content of impurity in aggregate, can be provided appointed flowage without changing addition quantity substantially for the type of the aggregate and is useful for a dispersing agent for hydraulic composition.SOLUTION: A polycarboxylate-based copolymer is provided by copolymerizing monomeric mixture containing alkylene oxide adduct of alkadienol and unsaturated carboxylic monomer.
