PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention device capable of detecting that a sliding door is opened by a predetermined amount or more, and preventing the sliding door from being opened by the predetermined amount or more.SOLUTION: A crime prevention device comprises: a device body to be fixed to a door body of one sliding door; and a detected body to be fixed to a frame body of the other sliding door, and being detected by the device body. The device body comprises: a base body to be fixed to the door body; and an engagement body connected to the base body, and can be switched between an engagement position for engaging the other sliding door, and a release position for releasing engagement. The base body comprises a detection part for detecting a position of the detected body, and the engagement body is formed into a flat plate shape so as to contact the frame body of the other sliding door by surface contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
