To provide a crime prevention system capable of ensuring safety while also ensuring user's convenience.SOLUTION: The crime prevention device comprises: an electric lock that locks/unlocks by short-range communication; an intra-building network provided in a building where the electric lock is installed; a relay device that relays communication between the electric lock and the intra-building network; and a gateway that relays communication between the intra-building network and an external communication line.
