PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand baggage lock device characterized by ease of use by using a proximity access, authentication technique, plural sensors, embedded electronic memory, and search of hand baggage information, improvement of security and efficiency, in an electronic hand baggage lock device and a hand baggage management method in an aerial company.SOLUTION: A hand baggage lock device comprises: an electronic lock; an electronic hand baggage tag 10 comprising a name, an address, a mobile phone number for contact, and an e-mail address; and an electronic memory for storing hand baggage information containing a physical dimension of the hand baggage, a content of the hand baggage, a weight sensor, a proximity access wireless sensor, and vicinity identification/notification device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
