PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve deformability of a column-beam frame by a simple brace member.SOLUTION: A column-beam frame comprises a column, a first beam joined to the column, an obliquely arranged brace member having one end part joined to the first beam, having the other end part joined to a second beam positioned under or above the column or the first beam joined to the column and a plastic deformation part provided on the first beam of a separate place from a part of the first beam for joining one end part of the brace member and smaller in flexural bearing force than the part of the first beam for joining the one end part of the brace member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
