PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fender in which buffer performance is superior, a high reaction force is provided even if miniaturized, and further, buffer performance degradation and cracks due to aging are difficult to be caused even if continuously used over a long period of time particularly under high temperature environment.SOLUTION: A fender comprises a carbon black in which a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area is 70-120 m/g and DBP oil absorption is 90-130 cm/100 g of 60-80 pts.mass per 100 total amount pts.mass of a rubber content, the rubber content containing natural rubber, and a crosslinking substance of the rubber composition containing the sulfur. The fender is formed such that the crosslinking density is 5×10to 2×10mol/cm, and a ratio of monosulfide bond occupied in all bridging is 10-50%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】緩衝性能に優れ、小型化しても高い反力を有する上、特に高温環境下で長期間に亘って使用し続けても、経時変化による緩衝性能の低下やクラック等を生じにくい防舷材を提供する。【解決手段】天然ゴムを含むゴム分、前記ゴム分の総量100質量部あたり60〜80質量部の、窒素吸着比表面積が70〜120m2/g、DBP吸油量が90〜130cm3/100gであるカーボンブラック、および硫黄を含むゴム組成物の架橋物からなり、架橋密度を5×10−5〜2×10−4mol/cm3、全架橋中に占めるモノスルフィド結合の割合を10〜50%とした防舷材である。【選択図】なし
