MECHANICAL BICYCLE PARKING FACILITY AND METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical bicycle parking facility and a method that effectively use a space above a bottom edge of a beam and other protrusions of a bicycle room as a bicycle parking space, thereby increasing a parking capacity.SOLUTION: A storage shelf 5a on an uppermost tier and a storage shelf 5b on a lowermost tier are provided, the storage shelf in the uppermost tier having at least a part of a bicycle parking space in a space above a bottom edge of a protrusion 8 near a ceiling of a bicycle room 1, and the storage shelf on the lowermost tier having a bicycle parking space below the lower edge of the protrusion 8. An elevated body 14, on which a carrying machine 9 is loaded, is lifted/lowered along a mast frame 13 of a certain height, an upper edge of the mast frame being below the lower edge of the protrusion 8. The carrying machine 9 is allowed to load or unload a bicycle into/from both storage shelf 5a on the uppermost tier and storage shelf 5b on the lowermost tier, without providing an upper rail for guiding an upper part of the mast frame 13, or by disposing the upper rail at a position not interfering with the elevated body 14, the carrying machine 9, or a bicycle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】自転車室の梁等の突出物の下端よりも上のスペースを駐輪スペースとして有効利用し、保管台数を多くすることができる機械式駐輪設備を提供する。【解決手段】自転車室1の天井付近の突出物8の下端よりも上のスペースに駐輪スペースの少なくとも一部がある最上段の保管棚5a、及び突出物8の下端よりも下に駐輪スペースがある最下段の保管棚5bを設ける。移載装置9が搭載される昇降体14を、上端が突出物8の下端よりも低い一定高さのマストフレーム13に沿って昇降させる。マストフレーム13の上部をガイドする上部レールを設けることなく、又は上部レールを昇降体14、移載装置9及び自転車に干渉しない位置に配置し、移載装置9が最上段の保管棚5aにも最下段の保管棚5bにも自転車を荷置きし、又は荷取りできるようにする。【選択図】 図3
