WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT APPARATUS
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality improvement apparatus that dissolves an oxygen deficiency state in a bottom layer water area by discharging a downward flow generated by utilizing wave motion energy of a surface layer water area in the bottom layer water area.SOLUTION: A water quality improvement apparatus that is constituted to induce seawater in a surface layer water area 2 having high dissolved oxygen concentration to a bottom layer water area 4 comprises: a surface layer wave inlet tank 8 in which a surface layer wave inlets 12 are open and whose bottom part is equipped with a tank pipe 18 extending downward in a communicating shape; height adjusting means which is capable of adjusting the height of an opening lower edge of the surface layer wave inlet 12 to make it possible to take in a surface layer wave A; a surface layer wave scooping guides 22 which are provided for an outer periphery of the surface layer wave inlet tank 8 while spreading in a surging direction of the surface layer wave A in order to allow a base part to cope with the opening lower edge height of the surface layer wave inlets 12; and downward flow guide tubes 35 in which an upper part is connected to the tank pipe 18 in a communicating manner, a lower part extends downward, and to which flow discharging ports 39 are open in order to discharge water taken from the surface layer wave inlet tank 8 toward the bottom layer water area 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】表層水域の波動エネルギーを利用して発生させた下降流を底層水域で放出させることにより、底層水域の酸欠状態を解消する水質改善装置の提供。【解決手段】溶存酸素濃度の高い表層水域2の海水を、底層水域4へと誘導するように構成された水質改善装置であって、表層波取込口12が開けられるとともに、下部には下向きに連通状をなして伸びるタンクパイプ18を備えた表層波取込タンク8と、表層波Aの取込みを可能とすべく、表層波取込口12の開口下縁の高さを調節可能とする高さ調節手段と、表層波取込口12の開口下縁高さに基部を対応させるべく表層波取込タンク8外周に表層波Aの押し寄せる方向に張り出して設けられた表層波掬いガイド22と、上部がタンクパイプ18に連通して接続される一方、下部が下向きに伸び、底層水域4に向けて表層波取込タンク内8からの取込水を放出すべく放流口39を開口した下降流案内管35を備える水質改善装置。【選択図】図2
