PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality improvement device where air is mixed into water introduced into a bottom layer water region, thus the water high in an oxygen content is introduced into the bottom layer water region to achieve the remarkable improvement of an oxygen-deficient environment.SOLUTION: Provided is a water quality improvement device comprising: a surface layer wave intake tank 8 provided with a check valve for water storage successively storing surface layer waves 7 into the tank; a height adjustment means 20 adjusting the height of the intake tank 8; a downflow guide tube 32 provided with a discharge port 37 in which one end upper part is connected through the side of the bottom part of the intake tank 8, and on the other hand, the lower edge discharges the intake water toward the bottom layer water region; and a mooring means 47 allowing a surface layer wave intake port 12 to correspond to a direction in which the surface layer waves 7 push aside and further immobilizes them to a specified water region, and using a specified water region layered by the surface layer water region, the bottom layer water region in an oxygen deficient state and a middle layer water region as a space between their water regions as an object, and the flow passage from the inside of the intake tank 8 to the discharge port 37 of the downflow guide tube 32 is provided with an air feeder 50 capable of feeding the air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】底層水域に導かれる水にエアーを混合することにより酸素含有量の多い水が底層水域に導かれて酸欠環境の大幅な改善が可能となるようにした水質改善装置を提供すること。【解決手段】タンク内に表層波7を順次溜め込むようにする貯水用の逆止弁を備えた表層波取込タンク8と、取込タンク8の高さを調節する高さ調節手段20と、一端上部が取込タンク8側の底部に連通して接続される一方下端は底層水域に向けて取込水を放出する放流口37を備える下降流案内管32と、表層波取込口12を表層波7の押し寄せてくる向きに対応させるとともに特定の水域に固定化する係留手段47とを備え、表層水域と酸欠状態の底層水域およびそれら水域間である中層水域とによって成層化された特定の水域を対象にした水質改善装置であって、取込タンク8内から下降流案内管32の放流口37に至る流路にエアーを供給可能なエアー供給装置50が設けられている。【選択図】図1
