ROAD SIGN BODY DETERIORATION DETECTION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road sign body deterioration detection method capable of discriminating a deterioration state by clarifying a determination criterion.SOLUTION: A road sign body deterioration detection method for detecting deterioration of a road sign body 3 constructed on a road surface includes: an imaging process of imaging the road sign body from obliquely above; a trimming process of quarrying a road sign body picture from a picture acquired in the imaging process on the basis of input coordinate information; a picture correction process of performing homography conversion to correct the road sign body picture to a bird's eye view picture; and a deterioration determination process of determining a deterioration state of the road sign body from a correction picture corrected by the picture correction process. Through the processes, deterioration of the road sign body 3 is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
