VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE AND ASSEMBLING METHOD OF VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping device capable of ensuring the performance thereof irrespective of the direction of vibrations on a building and easy-to-attach to a frame, and an assembling method of a vibration damping device.SOLUTION: The vibration damping device which is disposed between an upper beam and a lower beam of a frame structure includes: a support member the one ends of which are fixed to the upper beam and the lower beam respectively; a steel plate that is fixed to the other end of the support member; and a damper member that absorbs vibrations of the frame structure. The damper member is a circular steel pipe or a circular bar steel, and includes male screw portions at both end portions. Male threaded portions at both ends are coupled with the steel plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
