RAIL HEAD RE-PROFILING MACHINE AND SELF-PROPELLED RAIL HEAD RE-PROFILING DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail head re-profiling machine and re-profiling device that, in re-profiling a head top surface or corner of a rail head horizontally or with an angle, are capable of performing re-profiling while securely and accurately moving and tilting a rotary grindstone along a shape of a surface of a rail head, with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A rail head re-profiling machine includes: a vertical direction movement mechanism part 22 that vertically moves a re-profiling machine body 21 by using rotation of a vertical direction movement motor 22a to make the distance between a rotary grindstone 21c and a head of a rail R to be re-profiled be shorter or longer; a grindstone surface angle change mechanism part 23 that rotatably supports the lower part of the re-profiling machine body 21 and moves the upper part of the re-profiling machine body 21 in the longitudinal direction to change an angle of a grindstone surface 21c1 of the rotary grindstone 21c with respect to a surface of the head of the rail R; and a longitudinal direction movement mechanism part 24 that moves the re-profiling machine body 21 in the longitudinal direction, the vertical direction movement mechanism part 22, and a grindstone surface angle change mechanism part 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
