PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer mechanism which can simplify a configuration.SOLUTION: A buffer mechanism 20 for relaxing impact in opening and closing operation of right and left door bodies 11 supported by a frame body includes a pinion 30 rotatably supported by one of the frame body 13 or the right and left door bodies 11, a rotary damper 40 for imparting resistance to rotation of the pinion 30, and a rack part 50 fixed to the other of the frame body or the right and left door bodies 11 and brought into contact with the pinion 30 in opening and closing operation so as to rotate the pinion 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
